A 'World Without Borders' was an idea suggested by Aremuorin aka Anthony Everest, creator of MercyfulGrace Blog to Rose Wilson, in a friendly conversation one afternoon, post meeting at Rose's London Fashion Week, runway streetwear, punk inspired collection; as a fashion collection theme.

Rose loved the idea, since her Urban African inspired couture made for Aremuorin for 'International Women's Day' went down a storm, on social media.

​

It got some chins wagging in the African community as the duo pulled off an Androgynous gender fluid look for Aremuorin's live performance, in support of the Charity 'Women For Change' who transforms, the lives of FGM and domestic abused victims.

​

Rose Wilson uses eco friendly based materials for her avant-garde, fashion designs; sustainably. Most of her fabrics used are recyclable or recycled.

​

She embellishes them further with her own paintings, art works and abstract concepts with a social change and social inclusion message.

​

Aremuorin compares her brain with Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee & Spilberg. Her works are in the vein of Vivien Westwood, Tracy Emmins and Picasso. Maybe God is a woman like Arriana Grande said after all.

​

Her models also have personal disability narratives of turning their adversties into positivity, which lies parralell with the theme of Rose Wilson Couture's new collection - 'World Without Borders', personifying social inclusion, beyond culture, race, sexuality and political unrest. At least, for today; on the runway.

​

The idea is to inspire social change and inclusion, through forward thinking fashion trends woven with African cultural inspirations.

Also, to push African cultures in to the mainstream conciosness, break archaic stereotypes and be celebrated across wider demographics for educational purposes and successful commercial ventures now and in the future.

​
